Still Blogging

Long time no seen
It has been a long time since the last time I was blogging. Hereby confirmed: I will continue to blog. Here are a few highlights since last time:

Week of prayer with "Prayer for Oslo" in january
When I returned from Finland 9. january, I came directly to a already started week of Prayer with "Prayer for Oslo", where it was being prayed 24/7. The event was held in the building of the pentecostal church "Filadelfia". There was meetings every evening, with a lot of people, where it was taught about prayer and where the congregation used a lot of time in unified prayer and praise. I enjoyed the nights the most. I had a night, when I prayed with some youth. Most of them I didn't know from beforehand. I really enjoyed meeting some norwegian youth who was willing to stay up all night to pray. If there are more of you out there - call / write - anytime. I'm not hard asking if you need someone to pray with :)

The vision for a prayer network for youth in Norway
I sent out a mail to quite a few contacts, both in Norway and foreign. I got a lot of good feedback from other nations, and also some from Norway. I have shared the vision, briefly, with some from "Prayer for Oslo Youth", who gave positive respond. Monday 28. february I received a call from Donny McGregor from Youth Arise in Australia. He encouraged me a lot, among other things in taking some very practical steps in direction of this vision. I felt that God confirmed these matters with His Spirit. I will write more about this when practical steps are being made.

Oslo - An international City
Lately I have, to a bigger degree, realised how much people that come from other nations has to learn us norwegians. I got to talk some with the reverend of a vietnamese church here in Oslo, who is a man with a lot of experience and knowledge. One of the nights in the week of prayer, I prayed together with some africans. They were on fire and was very free in their worship. Tuesday 1. march I was at an international cafe and showed and preached. It was a former muslim there, which told a very strong testimony about how he met Jesus. Sunday 13. march I entertained and preached in an etiopic church in Oslo. They worshipped and prayed for more than an hour in the start of the meeting . I didn't understand a word, but experienced Gods presence very strongly. They are very free in their worship. I believe that different cultures have a lot to learn from each other - and I believe that God really likes when we unite and praise Him together.

Oslo - The Calling
I have found that my primary calling for now is Oslo, even though I feel a great love for our dear neighbor Finland. I hope to go there long/often, but I will have my base here in Oslo. I also found that I shall take more responsibility in my church - "Jesus Church". So far this has meant that I now am a part of the children's programme in the church during the five-meeting at sundays.

New homepage
The last 10 days, or so, I have been working a lot. I have had a pretty unnormal day- and eating rhytmn. I have been working in the nights and I have hardly taken time to eat. I have been consumed by the interesting task of making a new homepage. You might than wonder why my homepage haven't become better than it is, but in the meantime I have learned myself CSS, simple Photoshop usage and Internet search engine optimization. I haven't taken full advantage of this yet, but having a few web-projects to make, I believe it will come in handy. Why dont I work in the day like others? Well... For some reason I consentrate better in the night. Maybe because everyone else is sleeping?
