Home Page for Youth Group

The last two days I've skipped working at Karl Johan and worked on a home page for the youth group at Oppsal instead. The whole page was supposed to be finnished by now, but I have currently only managed to make a flash logo. Flash is cool, but can be pretty time-demanding sometimes.

I plan to make the whole page in flash, so let's pray for divine inspiration :)

Hanna gets baptised

Today at Six O'Clock my dear finnish friend Hanna Onjukka was dipped down into some water, getting baptised. I wasn't able to reach a plane there ;) while she told me about her plans late this morning, but I joined in prayer.

Provision

Last sunday I met a guy who just moved to town. He started to work in a company, leading a team of sellers. His job is to increase the sales in the company. The first day he was on the job, the company increased their sales to three times their normal and doubled their record. I asked him how that was possible. He answered something like: "Well, I pray". He also told a story about a sales-competition he competed in. Some time into the competition, he was far behind all the others. When someone commented this, he replayed: "The last shall be the first" - and he went ahead and won the competition.

Today we had lunch together. We prayed after the meal, and Gods presence came really strong. He gave some really good marketing advices for my company.

My summerjob

This summer I'm spending time in Oslo. My summerjob is to twist balloon-figures on the street named "Karl Johan". It was a little slow start, feeling pretty exhausted after just a few hours, but now I'm starting to get used to it. Today I have worked at least ten hours and really enjoyed it.

Maarit and Eeva leaves

On thursday Maarit and Eeva went back to Finland. We had a great time together. On wednesday we worshipped in the park on Sagene, where Helene lives. We made origami hearts with messages inside and gave to some people. On tuesday we had a nice walk and rejoiced in God and prayed for the media just besides a big TV-mast. On monday we were praising God in the park by the castle.
